HTML mail has been around for many many years. Until about 10 years ago, I was also against it, but that is like being against bad weather. It happens, and users find that several email clients render their HTML newsletters correctly but TB! doesn't. And it's not new to TB! anyway, Ritlabs has been working on HTML rendering for many years. >> Never mind the technical problems, users just expect that *all* of >> their newsletters are shown correctly, as this is what they get from >> competing products. OK, let's skip the general discussion and concentrate on developing the HTML rendering engine to a perfect module within TB!. It doesn't help to say "it doesn't work correctly, but never mind". You have to keep the competition in mind, and even if TB! has more functions and features than other clients, people want to read the newsletters they have subcribed to on purpose. One of my staff uses TB! and Outlook in parallel - there are many things (for example HTML) that Outlook simply does better and he doesn't want to miss it. True again, I don't know that either. And they won't tell us. ;-) -- Cheers, Thomas. 9.
