Hello Tbbeta,

I detected the following error in "The Bat" that probably lasts at
least since the 3.5 versions.

I wanted to change my SMTP server. So I edited the servername and had
to change from "same user/password as for mail retrieval" to "User
specific settings". At the "same user" configuration I have marked the
checkbox "Require secure authentification" while for the "User
Specific" I am not allowed to mark that.

However mail sending was not possible as it reported authentification
error.

What I detected is when I unmark the "Authorization" configuration in
"same user" and then switch to "user specific setting" and don't mark
the "Authorization" then it works perfectly.

So my assumption is that the "Authorization" flag is set even when the
other option is chosen and there the "Authorization" is deactivated.

Please check and confirm.

I tested that behaviour in 3.5x and now in 4.1.9.
