Hello,

at this time TheBat does use GnuPG 1.x or PGP as an external encryption
program.
It would be nice to have an option to use GnuPG 2.x instead of GnuPG 1.x

GnuPG 2 has some more features as OpenPGP and S/MIME encryption
standard.

The current problem is the coexistence of GnuPG 1.4 and GnuPG 2.0 in
most installations. In these installations GnuPG 1.x is named gpg.exe
and GnuPG 2 gpg2.exe.
I suspect, that the call to GnuPG is hardcoded in TheBat and calls
gpg.exe.

What do you think about this wish?

Do you like to support his? If yes, please visit
