Still cannot confirm.
Clicking on the scroll bar shows me the behaviour I expect on the list
itself.  The  indicator  on  the  scroll bar doesn't place itself on a
proportional  location,  but the address list itself just moves up and
down as I want.
I guess that with my 1700 contacts the problem should occur too....
