Hello, There are some problems running OpenPGP with gpg4win (the Gnupg 2 package <http://www.gpg4win.org/>).
1) Sign and Encrypt a mail for a receiver who has a gpg key. Pinentry's passphrase window occurs to fetch passphrase and the TheBat's passphrase window to fetch passphrase. This behaviour is very strange and may bother TheBat's users. 2) Sign and encrypt a mail for a receiver having no gpg key in key database. The resulting OpenPGP error window is empty. But running gpg2 on the commandline show an error message. Seems to be TheBat does not fetch the error message correctly. 3) An other question regarding TheBat and gpg with SMIME: Will TheBat use pgp for the SMIME? I ask, because gpg2 now can handle OpenPGP and SMIME. And gpg4win has a good certificate/key management. -- Kind regards GwenDragon Webmistress Using The Bat! 4.2.10.9 under Windows XP 5.1 Build 2600 Service Pack 3 Website: http://www.gwendragon.de/ E-Mail: [email protected] == PGP == E-Mail mit GnuPG signiert/Signed with GnuPG GnuPG-Signatur DSA/1024 Key-ID: 0x6E56AC7D4492AD16 / 0x4492AD16 Fingerprint: 0BC8 DDF7 E381 190B AF7D A327 6E56 AC7D 4492 AD16 == PGP ==
