We are planning to integrate The Bat! with Windows Shell better. It requires us
to make The Bat! Executable uncompressed, to let Windows Explorer to call
certain functions of The Bat! to index The Bat! message base using “Windows
Indexing Service”, to view The Bat! folders and messages from Windows explorer
without The Bat! actually running, to make shortcuts to particular The Bat!
Folders to Windows explorer desktop, etc. Of course, this will not compromise
security. On the other hand, it turned out that the the compressed The Bat!
became too “heavy”.
