While checking issue no 7749 (Tooltip in Message Editor status bar contains unnecessary spaces) - which is fixed BTW - I realized that the tooltips in message editor are blinking as long as the mouse hovers over them; for about three seconds the tooltip is shown, then it's gone for about one second. And then it reappears. Same for the tooltip of account menu in main window. Icon tooltips are OK.
