I would suggest the following as I know that there are at least four
used compilers here in the newsgroup:
1. One makes a working example PlugIn with Visual C++, ZIPs the whole
Project and sends it to the group.
2. The Project is taken by someone using another compiler (for which
the header is not yet reworked) and changes the project so that it's
working again. ZIPs the whole project again and sends it back to the
group. The ZIP should now include all prior project files (for example
to use it with Visual C++), the new project file AND a history file
(simple .txt) where all changes are documented (i.e. added files and
changes to files).
3. All people previously have worked on the project get the new
version and check it if it's still working with their compiler.
4. We repeat steps 2. and 3. until all compilers in use are supported
AND working.
As far as i remember we do have Microsoft Visual C++, MinGW32,
Borland CBuilder and Metrowerks CodeWarrior here. I could (additionally to
CodeWarrior also work on a OpenWATCOM Version which I do have here as
well.
I would strongly enourage to also check the sources to work with C AND
C++ since not everyone is using C++. Also I think most IDEs are able
to export UNIX makefiles which should also be included, since other's
might benefit from them since other IDEs might be able to import them,
which in return supports conversion.
