OK, this is due to the SMM handler not liking that its legacy USB buffer is DMA protected. And it is DMA protected because of that single usable page above all the reserved regions. The same single page above the reserved regions was found on another system as well, so I'm in the process of figuring out the best way to accommodate ACPI regions in the middle of usable memory (I'd really like to avoid a hack that just looks for a single page at the top). > TBOOT: transfering control to kernel @0x00a00000... > TBOOT: cpu 1 waking up, SIPI vector=6000 > > And then I have to power down. The SIPI line indicates that the kernel booted and brought the AP out of tboot. At this point, it would seem to be a kernel issue, though possibly in the tboot patch. You'll need to get the dmesg log (or serial if you've set the kernel to output there). > > > Thanks, > Alana > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > This SF.net email is sponsored by: > High Quality Requirements in a Collaborative Environment. > Download a free trial of Rational Requirements Composer Now! > http://p.sf.net/sfu/www-ibm-com > _______________________________________________ > tboot-devel mailing list > [email protected] > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/tboot-devel ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This SF.net email is sponsored by: High Quality Requirements in a Collaborative Environment.
