Hi,
I've tried to change the run level from 5 to 3, and it remained the same.
The kernel log in dmesg shows the resolution changes at here:

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
vgaarb: device changed decodes:
PCI:0000:00:02.0,olddecodes=io+mem,decodes=io+mem:owns=io+mem
fbcon: inteldrmfb (fb0) is primary device
Console: switching to colour frame buffer device 160x50
fb0: inteldrmfb frame buffer device
drm: registered panic notifier
........
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

it seems that something is wrong with the vga device switching here,
which is before running level 3.
so it remains the same to me, if I change the run level.

Beautiful is writing same markup. Internet Explorer 9 supports
standards for HTML5, CSS3, SVG 1.1, ECMAScript5, and DOM L2 & L3.
Spend less time writing and rewriting code and more time creating great
experiences on the web. Be a part of the beta today.
