Hello TBTECH, I took the liberty of making this post, as compensation for my earlier rumblings about the feasibility and timeliness of a TB! port to Linux. So, instead of more rumblings, I took the initiative to attempt moving TB! to linux. How's that possible? :) I am happy to say I now have The Bat! running flawlessly under linux. The catch is, while it's running under linux, it's also running under Windows, which, in turn, runs in a Linux process. Now, I hate to sound like this is a commercial for these guys, but the product is Win4Lin(http://www.win4lin.com, http://www.netraverse.com) and it's currently handling most everyday windows applications fine, as far as I can tell. Even though a windows installation is needed, the benefits of running everything under linux far outweight requiring VMWare, a dual-boot or separate computers to achieve using TB! as an email client and using linux for everything else. So, here's the alternative if you ever wanted to run under linux: Win4Lin. Go try out the evaluation version yourself.
