Hello TBTech subscribers,
Ugh, haven't been posting for a while...
Anyway, I was wondering this:
I do like TB!'s default option to include sender's initials for replying, e.g.
'L> ' from Lija etc. but, I guess (CMIIW) Outlook/OE and similar users when
reply won't see "coloured" original text and it'll be harder for them to
reply... I mean, message will look uglier (IMHO).
So, I want this: I want that default option to stay as it is, but I want regex
to "detect" OE/Outlook mailer and, when detected, to put only usual '> ' mark
for replying, if I choose so to reply, of course.
You can detect MS mailers looking for these lines:
X-MSMail-Priority: ...
X-Mailer: Microsoft ...
X-MimeOLE: ...
and for other mailers:
X-Mailer: Juno ...
X-Mailer: Calypso ...
X-Mailer: Becky! ...
X-Mailer: QUALCOMM Windows Eudora ...
Maybe this "rule" is simpler and safer: "If there is no 'X-Mailer:' field, or
'X-Mailer:' field doesn't contain 'Bat!' in its line, go and use only '> ' for
replying". Also, this should behave intelligently with '> ', '>> ', '>>> ' etc.
Is this possible and will you write it for me? TIA.
