:) Well, you are at least in a part right, I know also very little about
Secure/MIME. Try to find some explanations via Web, I'm sure you'll find a
plenty of.
Basically, as far as I know, S/MIME are represented via certificates. You have
already in Bat! some certificates to look for... see your adress book. You will
see the "issuer" of the cert., "issued to", validity, date etc.

Trust me, if you have *a bit* of knowlegde in Pretty Good Privacy (PGP) and some
experience, you'll translate this lines splendidly... at least I did that for
Serbian language :).
All this lines you will also find in PGP. Get some lightweight edition of PGP
(e.g. PGP 2.6.3 or 5.5.3, both freeware), play around, read some Help, and
bingo! :)

Nope, don't speak Russian, if you want I can translate this in Serbian. :)
Really, I think you'll find some Russian meaning, but, the choice is all yours.
