The problem is that the TB! plugin for GnuPG doesn't have support for the
GnuPG front end app GnuPG shell. It's literally a plugin only for GnuPG.
Unless Max designs a front end for Key management, then those buttons to
start the key manager will not work. He could also create a GnuPG/GnuPG
Shell plugin.
