Hello Raj,

Historians believe that Wednesday, August 1, 2001 at 08:39 GMT +0530
was when, Raj [R] typed the following:

R> As Harry Belafonte said in one of his song "Its clear as mud, But
R> it cleared the ground...." <Joking>

It's not easy to learn, but it will come with time. ;-)

R> Am trying to get the hang of Reg Expressions. Have now printed the
R> help file and your mails, will sit down and try and crack at
R> understanding the same.

Good luck. Another resource you might check is the TBTECH list
archives (see footer for link). In the first few weeks of the list's
existance, there were a number of threads disecting specific examples
of regexps. Those could be useful in your studies.

R> Thanks again friends. TB continues to amaze me with the features
R> available and feel its the best buy in many many years.

I'll second that. ;-) BTW, these regular expressions you're learning
are not unique to TB. In fact, TB uses an implementation called PCRE.
This package is fairly commonly used, most often in Unix/Linux
applications. So what you learn here can be used elsewhere.

I simply wasn't cool enough for them (whomever they were) to offer
drugs to me. Drugs were everywhere, that's what the TV said. I could
get offered drugs at any time. Yeah, right. -- J. Sullivan
