Hello Mark,

Historians believe that Sunday, August 5, 2001 at 20:12 GMT -0400 was
when, Mark Knipfer [MK] typed the following:

MK> Is there a way to replace a matching word in a line of text quoted in
MK> an e-mail message (%TEXT)?

Replacing the word will be difficult. Maybe if you could give us a
bit more context we might be able to help. Is it a form message?
What type of content would be around the PASSWORD line?

I'm going to make a few assumptions with the following. You'll have
to tell me if I'm correct.
 1. PASSWORD only occurs once in the text.
 2. You want to eliminate PASSWORD from the text, be keep the rest.

This is the quick template, you can make it quoted by adding
%QUOTES='...'

%REM="Do the text match"%-
%SETPATTREGEXP="(?s)^(.*)(PASSWORD)(.*)$"%-
%REGEXPBLINDMATCH="%TEXT"%-
%-
%REM="Include the stuff before PASSWORD"%-
%SUBPATT="1"%-
%-
%REM="Replace PASSWORD with appropriate text"%-
%IF:"%SETPATTREGEXP=""(?s)^(.*)(PASSWORD)(.*)$""%-
%REGEXPBLINDMATCH=""%TEXT""%-
%SUBPATT=""2"""="PASSWORD%-
":"Thatisit!":"Nope!"%-
%-
%REM="Include all the stuff after PASSWORD"%-
%SUBPATT="3"%-
