While I disagred with Marck too, I also believe that you are
overreacting.
What is bothering me is that I see fights erupting over this
*everywhere*: on almost mailing lists that I am subscribed
to, on many usenet groups, amongst friends... Almost
everybody seems to be getting vehement. That doesn't bode
well. Actually, it scares me to no end...
