However, we (the moderators) have always tried to be extremely careful in delineating personal opinion from moderation tasks. Marck's comments were not surrounded by our conventional <moderator> </moderator> tags to differentiate between our opinion and our duties as moderators. I believe it unfair to attack him on the basis that he is a moderator, especially when he was posting as Marck, not a moderator. I hope that everyone understands this distinction. Just because we are moderators doesn't preclude us from posting from a user/personal standpoint. At any rate, anything concerning the terrorist attacks are now officially OT and should be moved to TBOT or in private. I'm subscribed to a good many other lists, and they are degenerating into all out flame-wars.
