Hello,
I checked in the archives and couldn't find anything specific
Or maybe I should say nothing that made sense to me about
filtering to delete an attachment.

Here is what I'm trying to do:

I have a person that uses AOL. He forwards messages to me. This
wouldn't be so bad, but they are usually 6 - 10 or more deep in
previous forwards. The original post would only be 3k bytes. By
the time I finally get them they are usually 100+k.

What I have tried to do is: 1)specifically write a filter so that
if he sends me a regular post, I will still receive a normal post
in my Friends folder. 2) Send a message back to him saying that
his attachments have been auto deleted. 3) Actually
deleting the attachment to the trash folder.

What I have done so far:
1) Wrote a filter specific to sender to be placed in Friends
folder. Successful.

1) Using the Actions part of the filter: Send Auto Reply.
With this part I have been successful in sending the auto reply back
regarding deleting the attachments.

2) Using the Actions... : Extract attached files to specific
folder.
I set it up to have the attachment to be placed in D:.....\trash.

This part is not working. Any ideas what I need to do next?
Thanks for any assistance.
