You cannot create a new message and set the encoding to unicode, but
if you receive a unicode (utf-8) coded letter, TB! will try to display
it... Using only the characters existing in the system default
codepage, that is.

What progress? Do you mean support for Chinese, Taiwanese and
Japanese? It's unrelated to Unicode. But if there is something I
missed I am sure want to know about that. :)
