Hello Tbtech, I work in a fairly large organisation and I use The Bat! for e-mail. I have created a number of groups for individuals within my service. What I would like is if a new message to a group could address the message using each person's first name on mass. Currently, very unsophisticatedly, the group template new message has 'Hello all' as greeting. I have exported the university address book and imported into TB! I mapped entries from there to entries in TB!. All staff have first names. I want each recipient to know of the others so I don't think this is something I use the mass mailing feature for. It is probably a macro. My knowledge stops there. I definitely do not want to type every name in even in the template. I want them added automagically on creation of a new message to a group.
On the same line, how could I edit the standard New template so that when I address a message to more than one person from my address book and enter the body of the message each individual recipient's name is listed after hello? These recipients are probably not in a single group but are added as individuals for that message. Can anyone help? I hope the above makes sense. -- Best regards, David mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] -- ______________________________________________________ Archives : http://tbtech.thebat.dutaint.com Moderators : mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]
