Good afternoon Ken, It was foretold that on 12-4-2002 @ 05:42:51 GMT-0700 (which was 14:42:51 where I live) Ken & Marilyn wrote and spread these wise comments on "Reply Format": <snipped a bit>
KM> Hi (insert their name from "your_name:"), KM> You subscribed using the address of (insert "your_email_address:") KM> blah, blah, etc. I haven't tested it myself, but try this in your template: Hi %FROMFNAME (inserts the first name of the sender) Hi %FROMLNAME (inserts the last name of the sender) Hi %FROMNAME (inserts the full name of the sender) You subscribed using the address of %FROMADDR (inserts the address of the sender) If you have a filter that adds the address in your AB, you could use the %AbnnnPPP macro. This inserts a field from the address book. The "nnn" part determines the address that is used to retrieve information from the address book, the "PPP" part is the name of the address book field to be used. The possible valuas for "nnn" and "PPP" are described in the help (yes, really, it is lol)file under "Full alphabetic list of macros".
