Learning how those macros work would mean learning regular
expressions and how they work. Books have been written on regex and
I had to purchase one to learn regular expressions.

We had some time ago decided to start TBTECH in the interest of not
burdening all members with technical discussions about TB! which may
not interest them. The discussion of complex regex macros now falls
under TBTECH and from your interest in this sort of stuff it would
appear that you need to join TBTECH. :)

You can follow the list footer TBUDL Info URL for information on how
to subscribe to TBTECH.

All our regex gurus are subscribed to TBTECH and are willing to
assist you.
