Hello bats, A note to introduce myself and ask a question.
I have been using the bat for a while successfully in stand alone mode and now I am experimenting / evaluating the server mode with clients. My configuration is Bat server is win2k workstation sp3 w/ 2 NIC - one for LAN, other for DSL used by The Bat mail folders on a separate linux server box within the LAN Bat client on win98 se My questions The Bat server cpu is running at 100% . The LAN NIC is continually busy. I think it is chatting to the linux box. Task manager gives explorer.exe taking up to 70% cpu cycles. The cpu returns to idle if I close The Bat - or end process explorer.exe :-/ On the clients, when logging on to an account administered with User permissions, the client is not able to create email folders in the account. I have none of the "disabled actions" check boxes ticked in Network_Priviliges. Thanks very much for your help. -- Best regards, David mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] ________________________________________________________ Current version is 1.61 | "Using TBTECH" information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
