I knew I had something backwards... couldn't remember if the time was
the GMT time, or your local time... hehe... and I used to do those
calculations all the time too ;)

It'd seem a little odd to apply one rule for 90% of the program, and a
different rule for another. Chances are, the messages are probably
processed using a central block of code. I could be very wrong...
guess testing is the only way to tell ;)
