Thanks very much for your reply. And thanks for the help with the BCC
macros.  That's just what I was looking for.

Good point.  I was in the process of sussing that one:-)

The bcc mail is marked from:<myself> and to:<myself> so its easy to
filter it into "Sent Mirror", but do you have a suggestion on how to
filter incoming mail from:<myself> in such a way to tie it up with the
original post from the third party?  The original post may still be in
the inbox, or it may have been filtered or moved manually to another
folder.

I suppose I could make a habit of always quoting the original sender's
address in the text of my bcc reply and then filtering on this?
