Hi, I am a new user, and how I am not sounding like a whiner in the
following.  In addition to the problems listed below, it appears that
everything has been reset....in addition to the address book being
lost, the templates I played with and filters I set up are gone.

I would appreciate any guidance as the "INFO" source does not seem to
be the vehicle to use. While this may be a great product and, in the
long term these list very valuable, for a new user experiencing
problems, so direct response would be helpful

Is my impression wrong, or do you guys not respond to any direct
request.....if this is the case, I may want my money back, in spite of
how good this program looked.

Well the start up problem has gone away.....BUT WITH IT WENT ALL OF MY
PERSONAL ADDRESS BOOK entries.  Is there anyway to recover this or do
I have to go back and recreate them again....and reorg, change,
etc.....lots of hours of work....and still fear that they will be lost
again.

Anyway....I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE A RESPONSE.

Subject: The Bat! Registration

OK.....I'm registered......I hope that means I can get some support.
I sent 2 messages in the last 2 days & have not gotten any reply.  Now
I have a real problem.

When I start Up I get the following box:

Reads: The Bat! X Invalid argument to date encode.

Any Idea what is causing this and how to fix it?

Other questions (sent from [EMAIL PROTECTED])....message was:
** I found your "Mail Synchronisation", but the work flow is not clear
to me.  Could you detail the steps a little more clearly? (not asked
then, but would like to know why this would be better than just
sync'ing the files with MS file sync)

** Also, how does one use/get to "The Bat! User's Discussion List
(TBUDL)".  When I click on this I get:

MS msg: COuld not perform this operation because the default mail
client is not properly installed....I have The BAT set as the default
email client.

IN addition to above, do you have a PDF version of the "BAT Online
Reference"?
