-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi everyone,
I've finally gotten The Bat! to work with a secure connection to my mailserver using a self-signed certificate. I've been tracking this list for any solutions but I think I've found it myself. Might be restricted to people using QPopper, but at least that works now. Here's what to do: 1) Get QPopper 4.0.5 (released a few days ago) 2) Compile it with SSL support 3) create a config like your used to and add 'tls-option = 0x00000FFF' to it. 4) In TB! set the connection type to 'Secure to dedicated port (TLS)' Everything should work fine now. By the way, I'm using OpenSSL 0.6.9i - -- Best regards, Ralf mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: PGP 6.5i iQA/AwUBPnOkIvxZuej7J5w9EQJYYQCeP8ogyWklVqejaiqXUX5Vk8s32PMAoKGp HARyF1Fs9cLJNdzEiFFc32xC =R/4d -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ________________________________________________________ Current version is 1.61 | "Using TBTECH" information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
