Yes you can... and not really no. Most distributions ship with the
stuff already, you just have to know the stuff. I've not managed to
get it working myself, but I believe there is a program called Alice
that performs just like the "Network Neighbourhood" stuff on Windows.

Yes... that's easy stuff ;)

smbmount \\othercomputer\shared /home/username/foldername \
   -o username=<username>,password=<password>

That's it put simply. Then you just tell Wine to use
/home/username/foldername as (for example) drive G: and then in your
install of TB, you tell the Mail folder to be on G: :) I think I have
the \\ around the wrong way, I can never remember.
