Hello TB Techies.
Every once in a while I get a totally blank msg -- no headers, nothing. I know the msg exists because others on the mailing list have responded to it. Any thoughts on this weirdness?
Thank you.
I see this too.
I actually believed for a time that the odd blank messages were potential SPAM. I happened to have Thunderbird on my machine as a test for a work colleague and when using my own mailbox found that a mail which arrived perfectly fine in Thunderbird was devoid of all headers, subject and 99% of the text in The Bat. HTML, Plain Text... any type of E-Mail can be affected.
I have also found that E-Mail's sent using The Bat periodically/randomly suffer from this too... I had been sending mails and receiving no response. When I caught up with people face to face I found out they had been receiving blank E-Mails.
So, despite paying for Version 1 and 2 of The Bat.. I am currently using Eudora 6, which obviously lacks functionality... whilst I await a fix to this most basic problem...
For what it's worth - I believe the bug has been logged on the Beta system for sometime...
Regards,
Simon Fincham
