Hello fellow Bat-ers, I've been using the bat for a while now and have always been pretty satisfied. Now my provider is offering POP3S & SMTPS, which has brought me a few challenges. ;)
POP3S is working very well, the issue lies with SMTPS. When I try to send a mail, the connection somehow gets stuck after transmitting the message text & parts of the inherent SMTP server messages appear in the log file (see below). It is probably not a problem on the server side as I'm perfectly able to send mail using OE. This happens on a direct internet connection. Maybe somebody here has an idea. I've looked into stunnel already, but before I start setting up something like this I'd rather have explored all of TheBat's native qualifications. ;) Thanks for your help, Oliver -------------------------------------------- Attached: TB log file: > 28.01.2004, 17:18:21: SEND - sending mail messages - 1 messages in queue 28.01.2004, 17:18:21: SEND - Initiating TLS handshake > 28.01.2004, 17:18:21: SEND - Certificate S/N: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, algorithm: RSA (1024 bits), issued from 13 Dez 2003 to 12 Dez 2005, for 1 host(s): xxxxxxxxxxxx. > 28.01.2004, 17:18:21: SEND - Owner: DE, xxxxx, xxx, xxxxxxxxxxxxx, xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxs, xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. >28.01.2004, 17:18:21: SEND - Issuer: GB, Comodo Limited, Comodo Trust Network, Terms and Conditions of use: http://www.comodo.net/repository, (c)2002 Comodo Limited, Comodo Class 3 Security Services CA. > 28.01.2004, 17:18:21: SEND - TLS handshake complete > 28.01.2004, 17:18:21: SEND - connected to SMTP server > 28.01.2004, 17:18:21: SEND - authenticating (software CRAM-MD5)... > 28.01.2004, 17:18:26: SEND - Server reports error.
