I had 2 mails in my Inbox which I retrieved through The Bat!

in The Bat! they vanished. Is this normal? If no, how do I avoid it?

TB!'s IMAP folders cache and display only what's in the corresponding folder on the server.

If you wish to keep messages that you deleted from the server, you need to create local folders, i.e., common folders or folders in a storage account (POP) and then move the messages there.
