I have been getting DVD movies in the mail I am sent an email with a
subject line telling me what was shipped. I try to take the email's
date as %ODATESHORT and then put some spaces then add %OSUBJ and
append that to a certain file.

That way I can instantly see what movies I have already seen.

Trouble is ((( minor trouble ))) an eyesore actually, they do not line
up in a nice column because the dates go
8/4/2005>>>>>>For Sat: Reilly: Ace of Spies: Disc 1
8/5/2005>>>>>>For Mon: Reilly: Ace of Spies: Disc 2
8/8/2005>>>>>>For Wed: Reilly: Ace of Spies: Disc 3
8/10/2005>>>>>>For Fri: Reilly: Ace of Spies: Disc 4
8/11/2005>>>>>>For Sat: Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous
8/15/2005>>>>>>For Wed: Troy

See? if August 4th had been displayed as 08/04/05 then all would
always line up

Better yet: 050804 for 4 August 2005, then one could sort on that.

Anyway, I didn't see a macro that would do that, hence I choose the
%ODATESHORT
