Where are you putting the %account macro? It should work in an AB (or 
AB Group) Template.

You could filter the relevant contacts' mail to a folder in account B. 
That way, your reply should be from the correct account.

Or you could add those members to an AB Group, and include the 
%account macro in an Group Template to select account B. (But watch 
out for copies of the contact that are not in the AB Group, or for 
messages to multiple contacts where only some are in the group.)

Or you could remember to select account B before changing anything in 
the message body.
