Hello Thomas Fernandez,
On Tuesday, October 05, 1999, 2:06:46 PM you told us:
AVK>>> Once again: I *don't* see any *.att inline attachments here, and
AVK>>> I cannot even guess where these can come from:-)
OZ>> Yes, it strange. There is no any attachment at attached message, but
OZ>> TB! shows that there is file attached and this file contains only
OZ>> critical registration message. Seems to me that that's a bug and
OZ>> should be reported to RitLabs.
TF> No, it's not a Bat bug. I got the attachment, but it's on my other
TF> computer, at home. If nobody else has sent only this attachment by
TF> evening, I will resend it for you to see.
I got the attachment too (*.att), but the content is plain-text and
denifinetely same as in message editor.
As far as I can see, if sender using 8-bit UUencode format, The Bat!
will decode it plus an attachment *.att; but for some Mail Server
(such SendMail 8.9.3) have feature autoconvert to quote printable
format.
See below, I got this (error) message from my Mail Server :
X-MIME-Autoconverted: from 8bit to quoted-printable by vds01.vailsystems.com id
HAA15894
If your Mail Server activate (or having) this facility, you will not
see any attachment, eventhough the message header mentioned you have
plain-text attachment.
