The term "kludges" is never defined in the RFC documents
(AFAIK, of course:-))). The term "RFC822 headers" is used to
denote *absolutely all* the headers (both those that are defined
in RFC822 and those that are defined in the succeding RFC
documents). The situation is similar to that of Content-
type:message/RFC822, where as we all know the actual
message may be or may not be in strict conformance with the
RFC822 document (but HAS to be a valid MIME message).
Note that the X-Something headers have to be treated as valid
RFC822 headers (look into RFC822 for more information).
