Haven't seen something of the kind either:-)) Keep thinking that 
the best way to do is to put URLs down as <www.....>, but 
would vote for auto-distinguishing anything *looking like* AND 
enclosed in any valid pair of non-letters as URL too...

OTOH, I'm strongly *against* treating the phrases like "F@ck 
o@f" (excuse me, had to give this example) as valid e-mail 
addresses. These should be by all means enclosed in < and >.
