You're not entirely correct here: I have the same problem: the message
on the server will only be deleted if you log off, so if your
connection goes corrupt, it remains on the server, even if the bat has
send the 'delete message'-command...
A connection going corrupt differs from disconnecting: when you
disconnect, you do log off...
I suspect this is a security-thing: you'll never lose a message this
way... on the other hand you'll have lots of duplicates...
(but then there's that beautifull option 'kill dupes')
