>From what I recall now, the users wish list started awhile back after
discussion on TBUDL about wanting to keep track of suggested features,
so that new users could see what had already been suggested and probably
discussed. Alexander Leschinsky volunteered to compile a list and did a
very nice job. Then, we got to talking about voting on the items, so
that RIT Labs would have an idea of what the TBUDL subscribers thought
were the most important or desirable features to implement first. That
got complicated, though, and Alexander got busy (he must have a life).

As for RIT Labs, the users wish list was not intended to substitute for
directly sending suggestions to RIT Labs.
