Hi, Here's couple of questions. I've set up The Bat! on our Network (NT Server with 8 Win98 computers). The whole system is connected to a shared ISDN connection. Each user has his own email address, but besides - there's an OLD email address which is shared. What I wanted to do was to set up The Bat! on each user machine so each user will see his own email (e.g. addressed directly to his email address) PLUS the shared (old) email. This I was able to do easily using the "groups" facility of The Bat!. However I ran into a problem, when MULTIPLE users try to access the same (shared) account (which is a part of more then one group). It appears that only ONE user at a time can access the shared email, unless I give all the users the admin rights (but then, of course, they all see each other's accounts in addition to what they really need). As of now, I am inclined to go for an option of giving all the users the admin rights, while at the same time making each one of the users protect his/her mailbox with an access password. I wonder if I am missing something and there might be a more elegant solution (I mean, clearly, the possibility of multiple users accessing the same account IS there - when they have admin rights - but is just not implemented for groups) -- -------------------------------------------------------------- View the TBUDL archive at http://tbudl.thebat.dutaint.com To send a message to the list moderation team double click here: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To Unsubscribe from TBUDL, double click here and send the message: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> --------------------------------------------------------------
