Hello TBUDL,
Using the Bat! 1.36 under Windows NT 4.0 SP6 with PGP 6.5.1i
What is the "Enable compression" menu entry in "Privacy" menu when
editing a message for? I couldn't figure it out.
I first thought that when signing it was the choice for
clear-signing or not. ("enable compression" == "CLEARSIG=off"
command-line parameter) But it seems not. I can't tell any
difference that entry makes when it's checked or unchecked.
I hope it doesn't disable the compression PGP does before
encrypting when that entry is disabled, it would be pointless and
could lower security.
