Hello Travisimo!,
T> I have a filter set up for incoming mail that forwards a message
T> to a group. In the template, I have only the %TEXT field and it always
T> puts a blank line before and after. I tried putting the %CURSOR field
T> before the %TEXT field but it still puts a blank line before the
T> original text. Any way to elminate the blank lines? Even if the
T> incoming mail arrives with no blank lines before the text, the
T> generated message based on the template always puts one in.
thats because you type it like this:
%TO="Everybody <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>"
Hello %TOFName,
The Bat! converts the macro to what it should do, and then it sees a
hard return... (the one you put behind the macro...) and it displays
it... (as it should...)
how do you correct this: simply make it look like this:
%TO="Everybody <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>"Hello %TOFName,
it doesn't look good in the template, but it'll get out there ok :-)
(see the first line under the dashes... it's from this template...)
T> But really, thanks Thomas, Roel, and Ali for answering my questions
T> concerning the date/time and import/export. :-)
anytime :-)
