Unfortunately you will have to go through the directory and delete any
*old* unwanted ones manually.  However, you can set The Bat! to delete
attachments when you delete the message from your trash folder.  Just
go into Account - Properties - Files and Directories, then make sure
the "Delete attachments when message deleted from trash folder" option
is checked.

Again, you will probably have to go to that folder using your
favorite file manager and check them all out manually.  It can be a
pain in the neck, but that's the only solution I know.
