I know and yes, I normally clean it out as I use a special utility
called zap for that.
It cleans several essential directories on boot and also deletes on my
drives any tmp/bak and other unwanted files.
Very fast/efficiently. One of the reasons I once wrote a thing called
doskick as it gabe me under dos the option to do many things based on
dates before going into windows and also did the daily cleaning (ie
one time per day, first boot only)
