But the features in MS products are indeed asked for. It's just
that the userbase is so vast that it's hardly likely that every new
feature that is added will be something that you had thought about and
needed.
Apart from bugginess, the excessive helpers for novices in Windows
with no means of disabling them, get in my way to no end. Novices remain
novices only for a time and therefore one should be able to disable all
these reminders, helpers and wizards or not have them there at all. One
annoying example is deleting. In order to bypass the recycle bin, I use
Shift+Del. Funny, when I press Shift+Del, a popup message still comes up
asking if I wish to delete to the recycle bin. I have to say no to that,
hit Shift+Del *again* to deal with another popup confirmation *again*
before I get to bypass the recycle bin. Thank goodness for Enriva
Voyager. I hit Shift+Del and the file/s/folder is gone.
