Hello, The Bat Users!
Andrew>> In Editor preferences dialog we have "Pasting different block
Andrew>> type" options:
Andrew>> S&kip prompt
Andrew>> Adjust auto&matically
Andrew>> What are these for? What does it mean, "different block
Andrew>> type"? When is a block considered to be of different type,
Andrew>> and different from what?
t> if it doesnt make sense in the Russian docs what chance have we
t> got... Sorry for the joke, I havent got a clue...
The docs (and interface) were written in English, _then_ _translated_
into Russian. And I found even some real mistakes in translation (for
example, the above "Skip prompt" was translated as "Prompt for
skipping" - completely different meaning! :) - Max just didn't pay
attention to the function of this switch, just translated what he saw
in the language file :(
So, the English interface is more accurate, and English docs are more
complete...
As for my question, Alexander Kiselev was absolutely right:
AVK> Suppose you are currently in a "block" selection mode, and
AVK> pasting the data that was copied using, say, "stream"
AVK> selection;-) That's it, AFAICS
