That's absolutely correct. When the edit user form is open, look about
half way down the list on the left hand side and you'll see Options,
it's the fourth one down or the sixth one up, whatever way you look at
it.
Click on that and another page will open in the right hand side. Second
box down says "Periodical checking each." Tick it and tell the little
box on the far right side how many minutes between each auto check.

The problem is you were expecting Options to be in another drop down
menu item rather than in an open list.
