But is that the only solution to this problem? I, too, while liking much
about the editor in The Bat!, have found it at times baffling and even
downright irritating in its behavior. Is there a combination of settings
that will allow you to enjoy automatic reformatting without the annoying
bits?
One especially annoying habit is when you insert a line feed and it
insists on pulling the text back up to the previous line. Another is when
you edit your signature in a message, and suddenly find it all on one line
starting with the --.
I don't want to do away with autoformatting altogether, because when I
edit something I've already typed, I want the text to wrap correctly by
itself.
