There are many ftp programs out there that operate like
filemanagers. Take my file manager which has ftp support built in for
example.
I select my geocities ftp server space link by double-clicking on
an icon. The file on the server appear in one window. I then navigate to
the desired file in the other window and then doucble click on the file.
The transfer starts. I don't know jow much easier you wish it to be.
In fact in Win2k, I select run from the start menu and I simply
type, for example, ftp://ftp.ritlabs.com where an explorer window will
start showing the contents of the site. Simple drag and drop to and from
the server will then work as well. :)
