I certainly would give WordPerfect 8 or 9 a try then. I'm running
Corel Office 2000 myself (which includes WP 9) and I'm really
impressed. Although I must confess that I do not use WP for real
serious editing work very oftenly. The reason for buying Corel Office
actually was Quattro Pro (the spreadsheet program). Nevertheless,
many people that I know, who edit texts in a professional manner, are
stunned by the possibilities of WP 9. I could send you a CD containing
Corel Office 2000, so that you could give it all a try, if you'd like.
You have to promise to buy the program, though... :-))
